I’m super happy to announce a new album !
“There Is No Longer Any Turning Back” is a work created together with my friend Anacleto Vitolo.
Working on this album was strange and wonderful at the same time. It is an album produced during the covid19 pandemic and then put in a drawer. Anacleto and I worked very carefully on the tracks but we were looking for a suitable label to release it. And fortunately we came across the legendary Silentes ❤️
The whole work revolves around reiterated passages of pianos that I played, passages that are deliberately simple and sparse, almost minimal and that match the interrupted structures and digital noise of Anacleto Vitolo’s electronics.
All tracks composed by Francesco Giannico (piano) and Anacleto Vitolo (live electronics, objects)
